SELLING YOUR STAMPS?

    We are always interested in scarce and unusual material from Costa Rica and worldwide from the pre-stamp period through 1940. Modern material is welcome as part of a larger collection. We offer you three options if you are considering to sell part or all your material:

Direct purchase
    After the material is received, we will contact you with details of our offer. Payment will be made by check in U.S. dollars.

Direct sale
    After the material is received, it will be offered at our discretion privately or through one of our sales lists. Material will be priced with the vendor. We charge 15% of commission. The minimum value per item will be $10. There are no unsold charges, but return postage costs must be paid by vendor. Payment is made to vendor after the material is sold. Please allow a three month period to try to sell all the lots. After this period, we will return the unsold lots together with a check for the sold items, less our commission.

Auction sale
    After the material is received, it is prepared and estimated. We accept lots without reserve. However we accept reserved material if we agree with the reserve. We charge 15% of commission. After the auction, we will return the unsold lots together with a check for the sold items, less our commission. Please allow 8 weeks for settlement after auction date. We hold 4 to 6 sales a year.
